..for many years I love ZEGNA products and when ever I find something while I am travelling I like to buy it. Espeally the suits are great, they are best to wear and even after years they look great.
2006 I bought a bag for my computer in New York. Unfortunally it was stolen the same year. I found the same bag in Düsseldorf close to my home town Cologne.
I bought the new one october 2006. Not long ago the back zipper broke. Now in january the screw that holds the handle broke too.
I brought the bag about 6 weeks ago to the shop in Düsseldorf where I bought it.
Now after several calls from my side for information about the repair of the bag, I got the information from the shop manager, that the bag is in italy and they don`t get a information when it is going to be repaired.
But best of all I heard that, or at least the impression was left, that it`s quite normal for ZEGNA products that after a year and a half they break. Even better I should be thankful that they help to repair the bag…Is that true, is this the ZEGNA philosophie of customer care???
If so, it would really dissapoint me ..This week I am travelling to New York and I am not sure if I visit the ZEGNA shop.
I would really appreciate your help and a information.
