For Fall/Winter 2008-2009, Michael Kors found inspiration in old Hollywood.

Instead of jet-setting Kors turned to old-school style in a collection he called, “the Reel Life”. Maybe because of our culture’s current obsession with the Hollywood elite and all that comes with it. Kors gave smart looks for men who love clothing and luxury.

Luxe cashmere sweaters, camel blazers horn rimmed glasses looked easily wearable on the smartly dressed models coming down the runway with their ladies.

Michael Kors is nothing if not wearable, and although he put costumey glasses and hats on the model (forcefully throwing the era on us) his clothing will fit right in for 2008.

This is probably my favourite Kors collection in a looooong time. It’s so? Amy Winehouse meets Mad Men. Looooove. No, not every single piece you see is done by one person, it is almost entirely impossible these days, most dont even? do there own sketches anymore, but the vision is what matters.
