We love window shopping in New York because shop owners sometimes go all out in the presentation of their designs. As we were walking one day one store in particular stopped us in our tracks for their innovative use of material.

Artistic Tile is a design store offering artisan tile, handcrafted stone, and distinct fittings for the home. All nice and well, but it’s their incorporation of tile into a piece of ‘clothing’ that stopped us. The tiles form a mosaic of clothing around the window models in a unique twist on clothing material.

The shop is located at 38 West 21st Street for any wanting a closer look.
