So we went to the madness that is the Barneys New York Warehouse Sale to see what pickings we could find.
If you’ve never been, the Barneys Warehouse Sale gives you the opportunity to take 50-75% off regular prices on their selection of designer clothing, shoes, accessories and home items. After all, why pay full price when you can pay less? Unless you’re just a baller like that and can throw away money. Hmmm. Remember how M.C. Hammer lost all that money? Need we mention Mike Tyson? Oh, and then there’s the legendary Beau Brummell who inherited a great fortune only to spend it all and die penniless and insane from syphilis. But, he liked to polish his boots with champagne. Mmmm…BALL-ING.
But we digress. One of the perks of living in New York is discount shopping and the Barney’s Warehouse Sale can help to this end. Only catch is, apparently every other New Yorker knows this and so you have to claw, dig and fight your way for your sartorial treasures.
When we went a few days ago we saw a great Theory trench. As we gazed at it on the rack, pondering how it would fit in our wardrobe, and finally deciding it was the right buy, this vulture swooped down from the other side and grabbed it up. Lesson learned.
But did we find some other good finds, and we’ll be honest…some crap too. So make sure to bring a good style eye, or a good friend with one and be prepared to throw down.

the sale was not that great, being a shoper I have found better deals in the outlet at Prim they offer you 40-50 % off the mark down where here U were not able to get this and the mark down was still not a great savings. I would say bring a friend or child who likes fashion and know that the style may be at another discount store for less. I took my daughter..
