Converse celebrates their 100th anniversary this year and to celebrate, they are launching a new ad campaign called “Connectivity”. The campaign celebrates the past 10 decades of shaking up the status quo and features icons from a broad spectrum of music, art, sports and fashion.
The campaign aims to visually ‘connect’ past and present Converse icons through their rebellion and homage to the iconic Chuck Taylor All Star shoe. Who hasn’t owned a pair of those?
The past is represented by James Dean, Hunter S. Thompson and Sid Vicious who connect with the present icons of Joan Jett, Billie Joe Armstrong, M.I.A., Common, Karen O, and Dwayne Wade.

Wicked cool.
and those are just two images! The one with Julian casablancas is missing! awesome!
Wow, commercials with the images of dead people who had no say in the matter. Classy!
WAAH . awesome!
The ad. looks great, I think the concept is there.
I just want it to be more powerful. Maybe by adding more powerful icons to represent the past? There are only three. There should be more then three and they should all be very influential people of history.
^^^ They must be people that wear or wore Converse Chuck Taylors
