Uber luxe brand Hermes (pronounced ‘air-mez’) is set to open its first men’s only store here in New York.

Following the success of it’s Wall Street boutique, the brand is moving up to the upper east side for a men’s only store on Madison Avenue (of course). The store will be a 6,000 square foot unit located at 690 Madison Avenue at 62nd Street. The unit is designed by Rena Dumas and will sit across the street from the brands flagship store in a move similar to what Ralph Lauren is doing a few blocks uptown with the Rhinelander Mansion.

The Hermes men’s store is a first for the brand and will carry the brand full range of men’s clothing, product and accessories including custom and made-to-measure clothing.

A men’s ad campaign will be launching this fall highlighting the men’s range and building a greater awareness.
