The Spring-Summer 2009 collection from Roberto Cavalli…amused us.
The theme was “Bohemian Safari” and we see how Cavalli disregarded the conventional standards of behaviour for either genre. It’s hard to say where it went wrong, but we’d put it somewhere near the beginning. Save a few passable suits and hard-to-mess-up swimsuits we wouldn’t want to be in an artistic compound or safari jungle in some of this gear.
What did he do, throw the clothes in a disco blender, puree it, force feed to a wild animal, and then make said animal throw up on a runway?
