Do you want to smell like Kim Kardashian? Think about that one!
If you truly do you soon will have you day. The E! tv reality star is keeping up with the perfume industry. She’s planning on launching a perfume with New Wave Fragrances. Their the people who distribute Ed Hardy and True Religions fragrances. As much as we can think of all the jokes inherent in smelling like Kim, this is one of the smarter moves she’s made. Money from the perfume industry is quite lucrative and with her licensing her name out combined with a built in consumer base of her TV fans (teen girls?), there’ a good chance the fragrance will do well. Don’t forget that Britney Spears’ Curious was a huge success.
Kim says, “It has always been a dream of mine to start my own perfume business, since I love to mix fragrances together and come up with new and different scents….It all started when my mom introduced me to famous perfumer Caroline Sabas from Gras, France. She and I have been working together to create a scent that is uniquely me that I can share with everyone….I have also hired local designer Scott Oshry to help me create the perfect bottle for my fragrance.”
The fragrance is planned to hit store in Spring of 2009.
