Many of us know the Guess name as a pair of butt-caressing sexy jeans.

But the Guess? brand wants to change all that with the launch of a tailored clothing line this September. The Black Label line of Guess is a men’s-only capsule collection for Guess by Marciano featuring trendy-tailored clothing including three-piece suit looks of blazers, vests and woven dress shirts. The line will also include accessories like cufflinks, ties and shoes.

The Guess Black Label line is expected to carry a higher price point with higher-end fabrics incorporated into the range. The Guess Black Label line will have price points 30-40% higher than Guess’s main men’s line. Retail prices will range from $79 for a polo shirt of mercerized cotton to $128-$228 for 100% wool suit separates.

I’m not sure if Guess has what it takes to pull this off. They haven’t been relevant for a long time. The 90’s, as good as they were, are over.
