55DSL presents a Fall/Winter ’08 collection that is inspired by hi-fi stereo equipment with references to the late 80′s in the form of funky audiocassette graphics and well as LP covers.
What better reference for a collection labeled “LOW NOISE HIGH QUALITY”. 55DSL also sticks with their dynamic and abstract geometric obsession.
In addition to the brands seasonal palette of militant green, grey and white this collection features three prominent colors: turquoise, hot-red and purple.
The range of jackets, lightweight sports jackets and tough aviation-styles is numerous and contains quirkly 55DSL effects that allow the garments to stand out.
Of course the tee’s are another thing 55DSL does great. One of the tee’s we own from them is so soft it feels like we’ve been wearing it since the late 80′s. It’s that good.
Plus each season 55DSL collab’s with select artists from around the globe. For Fall/Winter 2008-09 they chose: Brosmind (Spain), Andy Rementer (USA), Luke Insect (UK), Arthur King (France), and Komatsu 1000 (UK).
