Rumors have been running rampant that Britney Spears will appear on an upcoming issue of Vogue Magazine.
It ain’t happening people.
The drama started yesterday when gossip-monger Liz Smith reported that “Vogue’s celebrated Patrick Demarchelier has come to the U.S. from London to photograph Britney Spears.”
Yes Demarchelier shoots for Vogue and yes he may have shot Britney but that doesn’t equate to Britney being in Vogue.
Brit-brits’s first and only appearance on the cover of Vogue came back in November 2001 for an American fashion issue, which was a flop according to sources.
Editrix Anna Wintour “will never put her on the cover again….She’s just not a Vogue kind of girl”, sources say.
Vogue reps have confirmed the news saying, “she is not appearing on or in Vogue.”
So apparently the shoot was for another magazine which hopefully we’ll find out soon.
