As you all must have heard by now there was carnage at the Spring 2009 Prada runway show.
Models were falling on the runway left and right. In fashion terms this equates to a bloodbath! And what’s to blame? Miucia’s superhigh platform shoes.
Apparently the shoes have slippery black socks attached to them that cause the stumbling, hobbling and falling.
The tragedy is something that designers and editors never want to see. You can see it happen in this video. Model Katie Fogarty wobbles, falls and then just takes the damn shoes off much to the delight of the clapping audience.
