The pictures of singer Rihanna’s horrific abuse have been leaked onto the internet erupting a storm of controversy.
The photo first appeared on website TMZ and was picked up others including MediaTakeOut and many outlets of the mainstream media including the New York Daily News, New York Post, Newsday, and Us Weekly.
The LAPD has launched an investigation into how the photos may have been leaked.
A statement from their organisation given to People magazine read: “The photograph has the appearance of one taken during an official domestic violence investigation. “The Los Angeles Police Department takes seriously its duty to maintain the confidentiality of victims of domestic violence.” The LAPD added that it had been “receiving numerous inquiries about the release of a photograph associated with a domestic violence incident that occurred involving entertainer Chris Brown.”
The photos are very jarring and a reality check that this did in fact happen and underlines the seriousness of the vicious attack.

Chris Brown needs to be in prison with the key thrown away!
I think that the photos being out for every one to see is important. I have a 13 year old daughter and I will be showing this to her. I was beaten like that at one point in my life and it is the most horrifying thing to go through, but we need people like her that have gone through this to stand up and talk about it.
As someone who has 20 years of experience in the fields of Security and Investigation and someone who has seen hundreds of attack and accident injuries, I can say that these photos of an alleged attack are not what they are stated to be. These are not real attack injuries. This is a bunch of BS.

this is very horrifying. but i know most of you will disagree with me but i love chris brown and he made a mistake. i know he regrets it. everybody deserves a 2nd chance. what he did to rihanna was wrong. and you should never hit a woman but we dont know if she started hiting him. we dont know them like that so he just probably got tired of it and blow up and took it too far and couldnt control himself. back off chris brown! rihanna needs to forgive and forget. i know sorry wont cut it but god really rihanna. stop being childish about it and stop feeling sorry for yourself. you werent permently damaged. he did wrong. and we all know that everybody feels bad for you and you dont have brain damage or anything. grow up. forgive him. and forget that it happend. what happend happend so push it away. its in the past. its now the present. which is a gift for you being here today. you still have the future. and hopefully in the future you get over yourself. i love rihanna and chris brown but she’s feelin sorry for herself.
