LIL KIM HANGS UP ON PHONE INTERVIEW AFTER PLASTIC SURGERY QUESTION

by Kid A on April 18, 2009

Apparently Lil Kim doesn’t take too kindly to people inquiring about her obvious plastic surgery. Recently BET reporter Clay Cane spoke with her in a phone interview and the Queen Bee hung up on him.
Peep it after the pop.

Let me ask you this Kim, this is a big question that we get from everybody and you can decide if you don’t want to answer it or not. There is a perception in the African-American community that Lil’ Kim didn’t like the way she looked as a Black woman so she got plastic surgery to make herself look less Black. What’s your reaction— **CALL ENDS** Note: Kim’s publicist called shortly after the call was disconnected to say Kim was running into rehearsal and I was not hung up on. Yeah right, if she was being rushed away she would say, “I’m sorry, I have to go – thank you BET for all your support,” or something. As Kim once said, “I got no time for fake ones.”

Good grief Lil Kim! Don’t make it worse by lying! SMH!

I think that was a rude question to ask!!! Kim has never spoken openly about her surgeries, because their HER surgeries. She looks GREAT now doing big things on Dancing with the Stars, so let's focus on the positive please!!!

I don't think it was a rude question at all. I think it was a perfectly legit question to ask, and if you're going to be a celebrity in this America at this time then expect to get straight up questions. Don't be a punk about it by hanging up on it. It just furthers the questions accuracy that she does not want to be seen as a "Black Black" woman, by her hanging up on a Black entertainment television show. ugh.

Clay is a Betch! April 25, 2009 at 6:33 am

I agree Fuck BET's Clay! Why hasn't anyone asked Beyonce the same question about her hair or makeup? It was a bull shit question. Respect to Kim, good for fucking her!

Both are you are crazy. She looks horrible. She looked great before flawless black woman now she look like she trying to get all the white features she can. And as for Beyonce DONT GO THERE.! ! She is natural beauty. A little make up is not changing her image. Texas Woman dont play into all that shit . Both of you go fuck yourself. Lil Kim is UGLY now and im not the only one that think so.

Only white people would think that was a rude question and that Lil' Kim looks good. She has destroyed her natural features to ingratiate herself with white people, and it's clearly working in her favor. Still, she obviously hates herself and it is apparent in the way she has changed her appearance to emulate white women. Lil' Kim hung up on Clay because she's ignorant and the truth hurts. A few more surgeries and her nose will be falling off like Michael's. The skin bleaching or light makeup that she uses speaks volumes on the look she's trying to accomplish considering that her natural complexion is BROWN SKINNED.

Unlike Lil Kim, Beyonce does not have hang-ups about her looks. Although there are a few women of color in Hollywood who has had plastic surgeries, nevertheless, Lil Kim's surgeries are a bit excessive! Everyone will agree, Lil Kim was much more attractive before. Women 'emulated' her and wanted to be Lil Kim. I think Lil Kim assumes all Black men want lighter women with smaller noses, but that is contrary to the pictures that are posted in King Magazine and the Black Supermodels that are recognized internationally as the Worlds most beautiful Black Women, Naomi Campbell, Iman, Beverly Johnson, HELLO! All Black men do not have the Notorious B.I.G ( may he rest in peace) perception of light-skinned women as 'goddesses.' Biggie's choice, perhaps may not have even been a result of skin complexion, but may have been turned off by her lack of self-esteem, and to most Black men, that is not very 'SEXY.' I will agree with Mel, she hung up intentionally. She did not want to face the truth. But Lil Kim, we still love you, please learn to love yourself!!!!
